Formed in 2010, MADFIRE Studios are a dynamic and affordable film production company and studio hire facility based in Hertfordshire, dedicated to bringing stories to the screen. Our two fully-equipped studio spaces are a blank canvas for your imagination. Studio 1 features a pre-lit white cyclorama wall, while Studio 2 offers a pre-lit chroma key green cyclorama wall for all your special effects and green screen needs. Both spaces are customizable and come with a comprehensive range of professional lighting, grip, and electrical equipment. We also provide access to essential amenities like a hair and makeup room, kitchen, and bathroom facilities, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for your cast and crew.
Beyond our studio spaces, we offer a full suite of production services tailored to fit any budget. Our experienced team can assist with every stage of the filmmaking process, from pre-production planning to digital editing, sound production, animation, and titles. In addition to loading bay access and free parking, all our visitors are welcome to use the kitchen (the coffee is good stuff!). You're welcome to bring along your own food, then sit back and relax in the TV room, to review your edited footage. You can even watch your green screen scene as it's being filmed!
Our Work
We helped render some of the special effects shown within Tesco's "Feed Your Christmas Spirit" campaign, for Christmas 2024.
Our sound studio was hired via Lionsgate UK for final soundtrack additions for the movie "Tornado", starring Tim Roth.
In 2011, we were approached by the Production Designer of the sci-fi movie, Prometheus. Our green screen studio was used to fill in various scene transitions, using distant shots of stand-in actors.
